Are there any restrictions regarding who can have treatments ?
Patients with neuromuscular disorders such as myasthenia gravis or who are taking muscle relaxants should refrain from having botulinum toxin. Furthermore pregnant/breast feeding patients should also not have treatment. Those with infection at the site of injection or bleeding disorders should also exercise caution.
