Easy TCA Ultra light Peels with potent protein peptide/vitamin infusions
AMAZING PRODUCT!
Binding proteins and acids to amino acids is the newest technique in skin resurfacing!
This method of peeling virtually removes any chance of a topical reaction or burn!. It also causes
the skin to draw tight below the stratum corneum so you dont have a day where your skin looks wrinkled
and dry right before the peel. You go from great skin the minute you apply it and then on day after a
shower or a facial compress your skin will slough!
Chelated is a method used in China where they compound acid to hydrating compound for deeper delivery.
Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) is the preferred chemical for this type of peel. This powerful exfoliant,
used at lower concentrations, causes just a few days of subtle redness and peeling. 1-2 treatments can
really change the quality and colouring of your skin. This is a great treatment for significantly
sun-damaged and spotted arms, chests, and neck.
A peel combining higher concentrations of a few agents including TCA, salicylic and acetic acid can,
in just a single treatment, have a dramatic effect on dark spots and fine lines.
What will happen during the treatment?
During your initial consultation, we will perform a full facial analysis and discuss
in detail the proposed treatment plan and your cosmetic goals. With all types of peel
you may need to use specified homecare products for a minimum of 2 weeks before your treatment,
to prepare your skin and so optimise results.
The actual treatment takes approximately 20 minutes. A slight burning or stinging sensation may be
felt during application but this usually subsides immediately once the solution is removed or neutralised -
usually within 2 minutes. Your skin may feel a little tight for a couple of hours after the procedure.
How many treatments will I need?
Results of a superficial peel are temporary: an initial series of 6 treatments done at 2-3 week
intervals is recommended to obtain the best results. After this, a maintenance treatment every 6-8
weeks will keep pores unclogged, control breakouts and dramatically enhance the overall texture and quality
of your skin.
How safe is it?
Superficial and medium peels are considered very safe treatments if applied correctly with minimum risk.
You will need to avoid exposure to the sun for some time after your peel, but you will be given detailed
information on this and other aftercare, depending on the strength of your peel.
